Hard to say what pushed it back but I think the fact that Canada and Mexico were getting the UK and EU on board with tariff retaliations, and Canada willing to specifically target Tesla, may have made them rethink things a bit (which is good and the alliance should only grow from here)

From a business perspective, that would be arguably worse. Once implemented, there’s something to work with. Constantly delaying them creates massive uncertainty, tanking investment.
