All of Canada needs to look at Ontario - the deterioration of health care, poor education funding, lack of housing and increase of encampments, lack of rapid transit and rise of Doug Ford's wealth to see the havoc Cons bring. Say NO to Polievre. Trust me!

It would be useful to expose the moneyed interests that precipitate this change — Poilievre is like a tepid soup made from Harper’s laundry water, but he subscribes to the same playbook: blame minorities while stealing and selling off everything. Nab those keen to buy, wine well stop the decline.

Wouldn’t it be great if we simply banned Twitter/X?
Seems reasonable given Musk’s political views and ability to manipulate the algorithm.
I’d like to think this is at least on the table in Ottawa….

Yes, it raises key issues for political advertising & election interference laws. If a US citizen pays $44B for an algorithmic/AI-driven messaging system & uses it to target political thought in another country, is it not advertising & interfering? Of course, “simply banning” raises other issues.

The US proposes banning TikTok with much flimsier evidence.
Musk’s platform spreads misinformation, outright lies and hatred. Surely, if a maniac stood at the corner of Portage and Main, shouting obscenities through a bullhorn, he would at least be asked to move along?
