I definitely appreciate that, but I don't want to start a witch hunt or get someone blacklisted. I feel like people who are like this end up making their own bed eventually (they lost a potential reader and fan in me, anyway).

if only in small ways. I had the displeasure to see an author I'd been excited about (& had hyped up) shit on other indie authors in a really condescending way and it soured me on ever reading them (I even gave away the book of theirs I owned).

never be critical of indie publishing, other indie books, or leave critical reviews, just that if you think you're better than everyone else for [insert dickish reason here], it's . . . well, it's just not a very nice or kind thing to do is what it is.
