Cutting artists, teachers, developers, hiring officers, whoever to minimize costs.
It unfortunately doesn’t matter to them if their product gets turned to meaningless slop, or the moral ramifications of abusing technology…
It doesn’t matter that letting AI go loose has resulted in students using AI as a crutch.
What matters most for corporations, unfortunately, is next quarter’s earnings…
I’m not sure where AI will create new jobs: the Internet and computers in general birthed entire industries, but where’s the burgeoning job market coming from AI?..
But executives are creating a dumber, sadder, grayer world with less opportunity and future because abusing AI tech is profitable…
