Even as someone who generally enjoys those things, the website formerly known as twitter is toooo muuuuch. Not just the algorithm of doomscrolling, but the way people respond to others... :/

The outrage farming thing has probably ruined both Twitter and YouTube, honestly. The fact people can make money by "engagement" has utterly poisoned both wells.

Shocker that I prefer a platform where I'm not ridiculed, attacked, insulted or threatened for existing.
Not used DeadBird in ages.
Threads used to be 'better' but is now equally unwilling to moderate hate speech. So - for now - I appreciate BlueSky for what it is. Let's see if it lasts.
