If there were one, I’d be much more likely to see movies in theaters. A couple of previews is fun. A half dozen of them plus ads for other things is like getting a root canal.
Agreed 👍 I have young grandchildren who are under 6. Getting them to sit for an hour and a half is their limit but adding 30 mins of ads and previews is a cinema killer for me
Last time I went to the cinema, the previews were 45 mins long and since I had not planned for that, I had to leave the film early to pick up my kid loll
i feel like it's very inconsistent between theaters/chains and that makes it hard to know when to show up because last time we were in our seats 8 minutes past start time and they were at least 3 minutes into the movie
I'm not! The way they show the whole plot in previews bothers mean to the point I stand outside until they're over which is what I was doing earlier when I posted this lol
Some problems with that.
1. Most people ate too stoned to remember which theater they were in.
2. Most people inside the theater have already forgotten which movie they are watching.
3. Most people can already do both of these in the privacy of their own home.
Yeah, and there should be a way to *skip* (not just fast-forward) the commercials when you DVR a show; to electronically tag the beginning and end of a commercial block.
Clearly they won't do either one due to
