I respect the stance but there aint enough film for me to be eliminating them or anyone else from my diet completely (and I love 400D). That said, they've gotten so expensive I might as well shoot Portra.

If I don’t have access to reasonably priced respooled vision 3, then it’s likely gold in 120 and Ilford in all ways.

I just won't pay £20 for 1 roll of 500T when the actual price is closer to £4 per roll. Respoolers sell it for £6.50 and they don't lose money, so it's just greed from Cinestill.

Here's hoping ilford's C41 efforts pan out soon.

I will say that transforming it into C41 is definitely worth something to me. Makes it much easier and quicker. I don't think Cinestill is a bad service, I just hate us losing more choices for no benefit (other than them and Kodak, I guess?).

If Harman could make a reasonably priced “everyday” color film I’d be all in. I like Harman Phoenix but it has too much of a unique color tone to use everyday

I hope they make a finer grained and better colout film, absolutely, but I also hope that they keep phoenix!
I adore it for flash photography
