I ordered a window perch so he can look out that window without balancing on the narrow ledge. Got the wrong size so a new size is already ordered.

It's sweet of you to accommodate him. Our cats have always considered windows "cat TV." Hope that he's doing better. His face is very much calmer now - he's not in pain. You are doing a good thing.
