Don't get discouraged. Timing is usually the culprit for discrepancies like this. But in all seriousness sometimes problems are big enough for different people to try different ways even if it seems duplicative. it's progress- and a good time to document those differences.

The only time numbers from different systems doing who knows what need to match is finance related systems and systems designed to work in lockstep... Reconciling anything else is futile and probably a form of torture for data folks
