There was this obscure rumour 15 years ago that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was secretly Jewish lol. This was based on his surname at birth being Sabbaghian which, according to one very trashy article I read, was a Persian Jewish name.
So far as I know (not Shia/12er)he claims a lineage from the Prophet of Islam through the Fourth Imam Zaynul-Abidin, son of Hussain and thus to the Prophet and back to İsmail/Ishmael, not through the family of Imran, father of Musa, peace be upon all the Prophets.
So with the caveat that I'm totally out of my depth (Ashkenazi Jewish genealogy) and I'm just guessing from Wikipedia - the previous Ayatollah is a descendant of the 7th Imam *Musa* al-Khadim, maybe this person is very confused about there being more than one Musa...?
I do know that some Shia (and other Muslims) consider themselves to be following the Torah better than Jews, although the Prophet of Islam deplored those who praised him over Moses, saying "when I rise on the Day of Judgment, Moses will already be before the Throne." https://sunnah.com/bukhari:2411
Other than the purity of the AhlulBayt (Prophets line through Ali) as mentioned in the Qur'an, the idea of any tribe or nation having innate superiority is apposite to direct Qur'anic injunctions and hadith about the only superiority is in Consci(enti)ousness of God. https://quran.com/49/13
So it is really weird for anyone to talk about ethnic superiority if they believe in the Qur'an, racism or ideas of ethnic supremacy is so repeatedly and explicitly deplored partly because the Bedouin Arabs of the time of the Prophet were so proud of their ancestry. https://www.iium.edu.my/deed/articles/thelastsermon.html

Had not heard that claim before.

I'm devoting too much time to some poster's inane thoughts... but I can't help but be intrigued
