yea its definitely a thing for us old folks now lol my nephew has absolutely no interest in cards of any kind, its all about fortnite and minecraft with that boy and his friends.
We have one of those machines at our local grocery store and it is ALWAYS sold out. There is a guy that follows the restocker and buys it out as soon as it is stocked. Sucks.
I'm a mail carrier and I have a couple of these on my delivery route. I sneak the occasional peak at inventory when time permits
Glad they changed it to randomly release stock so it doesn't get scooped up by a single person right away. Ours here usually have at least Something in them
It's so frustrating too, because even local stores and other areas where you could buy pokemon product originally at normal price. Are now upping their pricing because of how bad the scalper problem is. My local comic store? The new set that's released, a booster box is 300 dollars. What?

20 years ago we were playing at the cafeteria with our yugioh cards or whatever, idk if it still happens or cell phones killed that hobby lol.
So those fucking cards are just glorified hockey cards now I guess. Just hunt for valuables and the rest goes in the trash.

Second off, fuck the people that buy from Scalpers cuz they got more FOMO and money than common sense
