90% of the time I'm just doodling and I think to myself "this should be in colour" and I end up going ham. 10% of the time I have a vision and do a very itty bitty thumbnail, cry while sketching it with references, lining it and colouring it. And then when it's time to make it more painterly I ball
Sometimes when I have a vision for a more traditional style, I use the symmetry tool for lines, since my sources of inspiration are also very symmetric sculptures and mural paintings
Interesting! Personally iβm too much of a pussy to do colour, mostly because i have no supplies for traditional, and my digital isβ¦ rusty to say the least
Felt! For traditional, one of the things I enjoy doing in my sketchbook is working with coloured/regular ink pens and a waterbrush. It makes things more interesting and just using the water as a small touch here and there makes it really fun π I guess a regular brush would work too lol

Whats your process like? Iβm curious
but these four images are all mythic fantasy, so the characters are an eclectic mix including a primordial god, immortal, sage, kinnari and vanara
