You would expect any electoral system that requires compulsory voter ID would be implemented in a country where it is compulsory for the govt to issue ID cards to voters.

The one thing you expected them to overturn - not a huge thing, not even something which would cost any money. Time to apply for that Irish citizenship- which luckily I can get, I don’t fancy any more time in this country
