Genocide in the Middle East. And increasingly racist and extreme border. Their turn against trans Folks . Etc. They are as extreme if not more than late 90s and early 2000s Republicans in a lot of ways.

I like this solution to Tolerance Paradox as a social contact instead of moral principle (it's still one of course but operative as social contract) to help stop the push to the right 'just want to discuss' baloney.
