They say if you work doing what you love you never work a day in your life. Wrong. If you love making art, you work two jobs because the art job doesn't pay you

Don't even get me started on figuring out how to market yourself and the internal struggle. The struggle between sticking with your style, creating art YOU want to do, versus working for a client and relinquishing creative control, doing jobs that feel soulless for money.
This... you much. I'd work all day making bad art. Then go home and try to make my art. Only to find myself tired of making art. Once I left that job the inspiration slowly came back.
John Stuart Mill, other than being particularly I'll on half a bottle of shandy, believed you worked your day job so you could do the really important work in the evenings
Don't worry, this doesn't just exist in art, but in science as well. The ones who have the money drive the science rather than the ones with the ideas.
Get ur art appraised and once you have enough use it as collateral for bank loan. Rinse/repeat, live off the revolving debt and your paintings as you pay off the debt.can't pay off your debt?doesn't matter you just lose the paintings and are all squared with bank.since it has been appraised.
