The real reason why Mangas are selling better than Superhero Comics isn't because "MUH WOKE!!!!", it's because Manga is easier to get into than Superhero Comics.

With manga it's usually "start from the first chapter of the first thing then read it as it goes" which is simple and straight to the point. Pretty easy for people to get into.
Meanwhile with superhero comics it's mostly just "IF YOU WANNA GET INTO [INSERT COMIC] YOU GOTTA READ [INSERT COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COMIC] ISSUE #300 BUT YOU GOTTA READ [OTHER COMIC] TO UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON IN THERE" which is VERY VERY convoluted and difficult to get into.
I don't wanna read a whole different thing to understand what's going on in the thing i want to read. And I know it isn't all superhero comics but the fact that the two most popular comic publishers are like that is insane.
