It's a speedrun you do not have the spare time for the loading screens. Losing your starting lava is a super run killer

Typically speedruns don't include loading times, it's usually only active game time that counts.

(depending on the version and map there could just not be any lava aswell)

this is the OG map which comes with no lava so losing the starter source (on 1.8.9) is a run killer because you need a lot of cobble
