I’m unsurprised that the far right is mad at Musk’s comments. Because no matter how many times Trumpers say they only care about cracking down on “illegals,” it’s not true: These hardliners are against foreigners of all kinds, including the ones who “get in line” and come here “the right way.”

The interesting side note to this is Laura Loomer posted on X as part of her anti-Musk screed a list of jobs filled by H1B recipients at Tesla. Lower level, "entry" type jobs such as engineer associate were routinely used at Tesla, providing cheaper labor for him.

There were only 2 jobs on that list that appeared to be H-1B. The others were H-2 likely.
