If this or any Administration was serious about cutting the budget deficit they would embark on a comprehensive plan to reduce per capita healthcare costs. The U.S. spends 50%-100% more on healthcare per capita than any other OECD country without better outcomes.
January is when everyone's new premiums/policies go into effect. I firmly believe the messaging is simple for everyone. Find something that you care about and talk about it. Chances are everyone is going through the same thing and a lot of those people also care about it.
Republicans can can push through their most twisted and harmful cuts, knowing that Trump will just knowingly or unknowingly claim the opposite is happening every time he opens his mouth.

If Trump takes away the benefits in the Inflation Reduction Act, the subsidy cliff is going to get very steep and premiums are going to get very expensive for many people.
It may be that we *need* to deny millions of Americans access to healthcare; it may be the only way we can get past the irrational fear of “socialized medicine,” and move to a true single payer system. It’s a huge price to pay, but we have to break through an enormous amount of ignorance and fear.
Thanks to Trump’s massive illegal firings. COBRA is still not affordable when it’s the equivalent of any unemployment benefits. Just wait until this month’s unemployment numbers come out
