And then there would be the time we would run out of tomatoes.
But that was the future.
I got off the plane - pit in my stomach - & went to vote.
Yes, I cherish my being able to take the faster EU lanes still today, but no such small thrill quells the sadness I feel for all that the UK lost & for the horrible effect this has had on ordinary folks who’ve been beaten up by the economic costs of this mistake.
I also hope the EU won’t make the UK beg & plead too much.
We are of course #strongertogether, most analysts know this, & seems citizens agree now too!
