My ancestors came here in the early 1600s and I’d bet part of that was to get away from the commingling of church and state. I attended 12 years of Catholic school, paid for by my folks, and I expect today’s parents to do the same if they want their kids to attend Christian schools.

Too many have this misunderstanding of why the Pilgrims and Puritans came to America. I remember learning the Pilgrims came for their "religious freedom"--but no one ever explained to us that the freedom the *Puritans* were looking for was to force everyone else to believe what they believe!
