Target fumbling their die hard supporters will be studied, I'm sure. Why jump in on the DEI situation after putting so much money, focus and intention into platforming creators from marginalized communities? Just dumb for no reason

Because it was all trying to stick to trends. From corporate pride merch, to highlighting Black creators and businesses…it was all based on the current media trend. The current trend right now is being a bigot.
Hard to believe it was solely based on trends since Target realized Black women overwhelming support them. That support didn't stop. I do believe it might have been part of it tho, but DEI has been around for a long time. That's aspect wasn't new or a trend.
Just to be clear they didn’t roll back the whole DEI program and they did rebrand a lot of it and keep it. But FUCK THAT, why piss US off, you wanted money but I think y’all retards forget, Donald Trump don’t shop at Target, and neither do any of his peoples with money.
It's dumb for a reason, CEOs are tripping over themselves in the race to become the first trillionaire, and they've correctly identified appeasing Trump is their best bet
