I saw the potential danger of Trump back in 2016 but I wasn’t worried because he was making comments like grab ‘em by the pu**y and mocking disabled reporters. I was stupid enough to think that there were enough decent people in the country that he wouldn’t get anywhere near the WH.

One other thing about Reagan I don’t think has been mentioned here. Vetoing the Fairness Doctrine was a huge mistake. It wouldn’t have affected the fake news we have now but it did allow for right wing radio like Rush Limbaugh which could have influenced Fox, Newsmax, etc.
