I know a 70 y-o woman who bought a gun last week. Made her son happy. He kept urging her to buy one. I have access to a supply & a Native American neighbor w/enough equipment/ammo for a militia. He's going to give brush up lessons to those of us who are a bit rusty. Remember hearing protection!

Buying ammunition can be a pain in CA. Someone else I know bought ammunition in Nevada last week. She's listing what she bought & is distributing it to friends, family, neighbors. Guns are serious stuff in the liberal boomer crowd I socialize with.

It's much easier for an authoritarian leader to suppress a democracy-loving population if his loyal "guards" are the only ones with the weapons. I think they will wait until the MAGAts really start to suffer under fascism, but at some pint it will happen

When Obama won, my husband bought a gun because "Dems will revoke the 2A" thinking. Now we're buying guns because the guy in the WH is going to sic the military on us. Also, I didn't realize my Libertarian husband would drink the red juice :-(
