Through December, I had 8-13 kids away for 2.5 weeks. They went out in sections of the room.
Several had a cough that they couldn’t get over. I still teach with my window open and the air exchanger running. It wasn’t enough. I still hold out hope that one day minimum air standards are a thing.

We have pertussis outbreaks frequently in BC. Unfortunately, parents need to experience loss & pain before they believe prevention is key. We sacrifice Canadians with shit health care. Every Canadian is equally important, not just babies / children.
