I would add that the reason we are not allowed to strike is to protect the people from losing services. Just as many of us are deemed essential during a government shutdown. Federal Employees have certain restrictions designed to protect the public.

Regardless of our personal political beliefs we signed up to serve the public and uphold the CONSTITUTION. In my job I don't ask who someone voted for, I just serve them all. Those days seem numbered now.
If you cared about the Constitution you'd engage in
Civil Disobedience, striking against the illegitimate insurrectionist in solidarity.
Instead you're forfeiting your one weapon, withholding the *essential* to resist fascism, & talking down your nose at the victim (the public) about your virtue? 🙄
Let's say fed. workers did strike. Since they're not legally allowed to, they get fired for cause. Saves the regime a lot of time/ legal fees b/c they don't have to even pretend they're fired for cause. Not sure if feasible, but what about the opposite, fired workers do sit-ins and refuse to leave?
