With similar logic, we now have far more Americans whose cause of death is cancer than we had 200 years ago. It shouldn't be that hard to comprehend (but we are dealing with MAGAts).

If I may be pedantic, it's not quite the same logic. We're better at detecting autism, hence the apparent rise in cases. But the reason we have "more" cancer cases now is because it's the last great "killer" disease that remains, all the others from 200y ago are now treatable.
