I am surprised. Surprised to find out how many people are around that are this nasty and hateful. They kept their voices quiet for the most part before the election.
I'm sorry. I've been there. I spent his entire first term in a haze of pure rage when I had to encounter my neighbors. This time, things were different. No signs. My state voted blue.
My state voted blue as well. But the ones who are MAGA have been very vocal since election night. It’s really sad to see. I am mad at so many. One of them my sister who I begged to vote this year but she wouldn’t because she doesn’t like politics.
It's hard, at times like these especially, to impress upon someone the importance of civic engagement, when our country is in such danger. I imagine that most of them will come to regret their apathy, but that does us no good at the moment. I am sorry your sister wasn't reachable.
