DFAM and Typhon and Microfreak. It wasn’t intentional but the plucky rhythm is actually from the Typhon and the notes being played are the DFAM, kind of opposite the usual. The weird rhythmic noise is from the Microfreak. The photo is from Emory where I work but I glitched it. - ThreadSky

An app called Glitch Studio. It allows you to really dial things in yourself with a lot of creative possibilities, almost like using Photoshop or After Effects but just more glitchy settings. There’s just no end to all the possible combinations, and you can build your own presets from the ground up

Thanks for this! I’ve been asking people what they are using for their visuals, I’d like to try other things out. Right now I use After Effects, but other answers I’ve gotten were Touchdesigner, and Resolume.

I can’t say enough good things about Glitch Studio. It’s really affordable and been using it for a year and never made the same thing twice. I need to check out Touchdesigner though!

Ty! Will test that too! I have tested a few or tried to program myself tools for visualz. But it's time consuming and a little distracting from making music. Touchdesigner is cool and versatile and there are tons of good tutorials on it!
