I think any information can be interesting! It’s all about learning about the world or a new perspective. For me, I tend to hyperfixate on certain topics for a bit then move on to the next. >.<‘ not the most conducive to actually conducting research tho’

For instance, people often irresponsibly use the word “science” dogmatically, but understanding the rigorous scientific method, uncertainty, CI etc. can teach us to stay humble and curious in all aspects of our lives!
True, though I’d argue that not understanding also helps to promote creativity. Our scientific method is not foolproof and can be limiting while basic experiments still have value in promoting curiosity and fostering love of learning. Simply wondering “what will happen if I do this-“ is lovely fun
Oh we’re totally on the same page! It’s precisely understanding the limitations and inherent uncertainty in the scientific method that can help us try and think beyond, question further, be humble, accepting that we don’t need to know everything, and just have fun!
