There was always a genuine emotional dislike & parochial antagonism from the fans toward Leeds than either to Fev or Wakey.Something to do with the Loiners coming across as moneyed & privileged .

The hate of Leeds (and it was hate) was ingrained in you from an early age growing up in Cas in the 60’s/70’s. The H bombs moving to Leeds didn’t help.
I coached Cas u13’ and the one game they wanted to win was against Leeds
