I once took the maglev train from the airport into Shanghai. No wheels — just pure frictionless magnetic levitation. It went 267 mph. That was 20 years ago. Why can’t we have nice things?😖

All that technology was stolen from Transrapid/Germany.

The story once relayed to me by a high-grade/-level tour-operator (CN-origin) is that, inside the Transrapid office in China, the entire *Chinese* workforce got replaced (not sure whether slowly or overnight), without the Germans noticing.

Also, Elon said America does not produce top notch engineers, so to get magnet propelled trains, we'd need foreign minds, but Maga doesn't like Indian ppl w/ Indian minds EXCEPT Kash Patel (maybe), so that's a no.

I recently saw Trump rambling about someone coming to say they wanted to use magnets to power something, can't remember what, and he mocked the idea like the tech is TOO cutting edge. Probably was about trains.
