I love this game! people rag on the story and Vaan being a boring character but they just don't get it, Vaan is not the main character and is just the way the player gets to watch Ashe's story!

Vaan is the POV character. He is the everyman. He is the average citizen divorced from the internal politics that affect his and the people's lives. He is an OUTSIDER bearing witness to the inner machinations of government. That's the whole point!! Same for Penelo.

its my absolute favorite in the series. Political intrigue, one of the best worlds set in an FF (love Ivalice) and it gave us Balthier and Fran. Hitoshi Sakimoto's OST is among the best and it's still so underrated. I can't believe it's been this long since it's release!
