More importantly we need involved parents! All of our first lessons about slavery and Black history came from our parents, grandparents and great grandparents. Aunts and uncles too if you were lucky. We have the power to stop them from erasing us and our history! 💯✊🏽

1/2 Anyone else notice that the present and awful administration has only one African American in it's Cabinet? Scott Turner has been appointed as the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

This appointment follows a pattern from Trump's first term, where Ben Carson was also the sole Black Cabinet member, serving in the same role.
