Hi all. This happened to a trans friend of mine in the LGBTA+ chorus I've sung with for 24 years who was attempting to renew their passport yesterday. I fear this is our new normal for the next 4 yrs.

Today I had the mixed “blessing” of going to the Federal Building (MPLS) for a scheduled appointment with the passport office. I needed to renew my passport, as mine had expired. The last time I was issued a passport, was before transition.
Additionally, I was informed that the docs, regardless of legality, would all be confiscated & not returned.
They also said that anyone with a gender marker of “X” will be detained at borders, and public intrastate transportation.
It is the 4th reich! It’s here. It’s armed. It’s dangerous. It’s in ABSOLUTE power.
The oligarchs have taken America.
Think about how go to public places with others. Avoid being “herded” by groups into “no escape” areas. LOOK for threats, and avoid them when you can.
