Delete this, this is incorrect. This is a Trans Lifeline number specifically for Canadians, the US Trans Lifeline number is still fully functional, 988 is used in Canada as well as the US for general suicide hotline access and neither have been shut down.

The number floating around "from Canada" is -
1) the incorrect number
2) for a #transgender hotline that isn't even suicide-exclusive
3) is not new
