Exactly. As I said, "do your best" to end it. Even if you fail, you'll have put in the efforts and that is admirable regardless of the outcome. And also, it shows potential aggressors that you're willing to stand up for yourself.

I think there's a disconnect between what we're talking about, but that's fine. I just mean that if someone tries to bully you, it's a good thing to stand your ground when possible (as in you and/or your allies) even if you're likely to get beaten up because otherwise that emboldens the bully.
