The four sides of the outer box wrapper have depictions of the four previous versions of the PlayStation in physical relief. They are subtle, but present. Running your finger over them, they are raised off the surface slightly.

When you open the flaps at the top of the box wrapper with the consoles on it, you can see all the legal and technical info for the PS5 Pro. The inside of the flaps are heavily patterned with lots of graphical symbols depicting the many devices PlayStation has released over the last 30 years.

Underneath the box wrapper is a monolithic PlayStation grey box. It is featureless except for a PS 30th Anniversary logo on the top of the box.

When you lift the box, which is quite heavy, off the base of the packaging, it reveals the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary edition standing vertically, and a large dark grey box behind it. The console has safety plastic on both ends, protecting the corners and surfaces.

The dark grey box has a depiction of all five PlayStation base models with their respective controllers beneath them. The dark grey box is large, and took up the entire back third of the outer box.
