They are all politicaly driven. There isn’t any moral high ground to lose here.
Trump will do his pardons regardless and completely ignore any criticism.
And the Republicans will go for the family of Biden’s replacement (as it was a strategy that worked once they’ll think it worth repeating)

When Hunter is put in a place of authority & power (President/Cabinet), or is found to have threatened the life of innocent ppl, violently tried to bring US democracy down, threatened to imprison his prosecutors or reporters on said cases,maybe then ppl have a justification to object about a pardon.

This man issues a pardon for victimless crimes for his son. Look at the pardons issued by Trump before you say any more foolishness like this. It's easy to do, Google search "Trump Pardons." My personal favorite is Paul Manafort. The money Hunter got from consulting in Ukraine is dwarfed by him.

Trump pardoned his son in law’s father last time and has just put same person forward to be Ambassador to France.
Not to mention that Trump pardoned Eddie Gallagher because he just doesn’t believe in the concept of war crimes.
