As I have been saying until I was blue in the face - as have MANY others - Labour are now utterly out of step with the public mood on Brexit.

Of those who expressed any sort of opinion one way or the other, a majority wanted closer relations.
(The assumption presumably is that "don't know" people aren't opposed to the idea, even if they're not openly seeking it out either.)
Fact: Most EU citizens are completely uninterested in Brexit or like me fed up with British demands for EU solutions on problems Brits created themselves.
(They dig the Brexit hole deeper and deeper every few days by constantly reinforcing their ludicrous red lines.)
