Hugely disappointing, but it doesn’t cancel the good things they have done or the rot they cut out of this country by defeating the tories. I do find the whole thing very frustrating, though. Surely SM&CU would bring the economic growth opportunities we clearly need? (Along with many other benefits)

If the Tory party gets back into power in 2029 - with or without Reform - history will judge Labour's brief spell in office an utter unmitigated disaster.

The Tories will be able to resume wrecking with a clean slate, courtesy of Labour.

No matter how many improvements Labour make over the next 4 years their attitude to Brexit will be their un-doing.

If they do not change direction I forsee huge losses at the next General Election.

Future local elections will indicate how many truly voted for change over those that voted anti-tory

When you think about SEZ’s and Freeport’s and “growth growth growth” it makes sense why they are doing this. We need press to talk about this. General population would be horrified if they knew. They might aswell put a sign up at Heathrow “welcome to Britain sponsored by (insert cooperation)
