With you 100%. Yet there is an even bigger elephant in the room, that WILL cause more pain than we've already seen. 1.5˚C is behind us. No prospect of reversing GHG emissions anytime soon. Each day I stare tearfully at our Brexit ship as it sails over the horizon. We need our friends back fast!!

I thought, when trump threw a tantrum over Zelenskyy, it would be a perfect excuse for starmer to soften the so-called red lines. Instead it's just more cakeism.

"brexit reset talks" really need to happen between the UKGov and english people. To "reset" the misconceptions & BS about the EU.

The EU is a trading bloc. It was set up to facilitate trade within a liberal global order, premise being that one large trading entity has more leverage than a series of small ones. We need to trade and coordinate foreign policy, but being in or out of the EU is superfluous now.

Despite huge evidence of Brexit’s harm, politicians remain reluctant to confront its failures. The UK’s economic growth lags behind expectations, & trade efficiency has been permanently diminished. It’s time for leaders to acknowledge these issues & take decisive action to improve the situation.
