For quite a long time the Telegraph has been directed at a readership no more sophisticated than that of the Mail, indeed only modestly more sophisticated than that of the Express.
Way back I used to read the Telegraph as a counter balance to reading the Guardian. I wouldn’t bother now as I could predict exactly what they will say on any subject (and it will be ill informed biased bollocks.)
Much the same, Chris. The problem for me now though, is that The Telegraph isn’t simply of the far right; it’s joined the right wing tabloid invented outrage/fiction mill and its news gathering has fallen away, meaning it veers between useless and preposterous.
This is Brexit. We are free to make trade deals. This is life outside the EU. The referendum only ask a question in or out and we are out. So they’ve got what they wanted that can’t own up to have crap it is.
You’d think they’d have saved their powder for when Brexit is properly betrayed. Where do they go from here? What further screeching madness will the descend to if we join a customs union?
