On point as always Matt - though I'd plug Ripley and Mr/Mrs. Smith into a top spot for myself, also am still enjoying Slow Horses - and regrettably would knock the Bear down a few pegs, maybe Shogun too : (
I liked it, especially the first two or three episodes, felt the back half was a bit weaker and some of the CGI seams started showing but still a great watch.
We started and DNF quite a few shows this year. We tried Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Ripley. I think we were overly harsh on Ripley, but the movie is beloved in our household.
We finally ponied up for Apple TV. We're making our way through what you've recommended over the years. Slow Horses is next.
