I've thought about the same thing. Main issue I'm looking at is that it may completely out any account you have anywhere with the same name (and any content posted) with your real identity permanently. I don't know if I want those linked myself.

Yea, I need to think this through. So far most of my content is fairly benign all things considered since it's mostly nature and monty pictures. But a thorough review is probably minimum I should do.

One thing I've considered doing is making a different personal account, and just messaging everyone I know from this account just saying "Hey, it's Cleric, this is my personal account" so they know who you are but doesn't publicly link you. Does seem kinda tedious though.

I might end up doing that, but through my fb acct. There's a few I would like to keep in touch from there, but I dont really want the whole public know who I am. Even though this acct/name is pretty benign.
