Content is a good word here. Lindy time was running out in NY… this feels like a decent return for a player that’s “peaked”. Both he & Vesey will be welcomed at Alumni games in the future.

I am actually a big fan of this trade. You cleared even more cap space, got two picks in rounds they needed them, an expiring contract to fill the gap the rest of the way, and a prospect. Vesey and Lindgren were done here. Bring up Berard and let’s go.

Great guy and was a very useful player but this had to be done, and getting any value back was a godsend given how badly his value could’ve plummet real quick so good move.
