Menstrual extraction is a legit form of care that any lay person can perform. B/c proper healthcare & access is not widely avail. If this were any other major medical issue, a person could seek appropriate med treatment from a healthcare professional. There are 1000s of med issues we don't know how to self-manage at home b/c we don't have to, b/c medical care is safe & avail.
