Self pub peeps, put your books on https://itch.io. I mean it. First of all, it's where all the lesbians publish. Secondly, even with most of our books set to an accessible pay-what-you-want, almost half the sales on itch have made about twice the return of Amazon's projected royalties.
Treat yourself.

You should consider mentioning that your MC is a trans woman and adding a list of kinks / warnings to the novel's landing page. I've found that stuff helps A LOT when courting trans readers especially 👍
(Quick side, Im not sure if the trans character counts as an MC, but she def has her own pov chapter and kicks major ass!)
If she doesn't play a major part in the story, I may remove it from the list or add a warning about the story that she only gets a small part. This collection is for *trans stories specifically* after all :)
I don't post any promotional images on my end, I just keep these lists and help folks improve their SEO, etc.
Both of these are a romance and romantasy respectively (or romantic fantasy, since the distinction is... muddy).

I curate by gender pairings because a lot of trans folks want to see THEMSELVES in stuff, so even if it feels a lil on the nose, I encourage folks to list the pairings
Moonlight Love is enby/w/w, the women being (ostensibly, as it's hardly mentioned) cis, and lesbian and bisexual respectively, their partner being androgynous and using she/they.
Wings is an all-trans world, as in basically no cis characters, with the primary relationship being w/w/w
There's technically more people involved because polyamory, but they're usually all trans and sapphic, and if I were to list them all we'd probably be here all day.😅

Here's hoping it helps get them some love! (P.S. def reach out to other folks in these collections if you ever wanna do bundle sales! they help A LOT)
Rien Gray has created a How-To guide for Itch that'll explain exactly how to use it (and make the most of it) in quick and succinct terms! Everybody thank them and tell our corporate overlords to stuff it!✨️
