"What happened last night is the most direct assault on the authority of Congress, I believe, in the history of the United States. It is blatantly unconstitutional," Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) says of Trump's OMB halting all federal grants.

"If this stands, then Congress may as well adjourn."

They do if they are strategic about it. If Dems news pundits and elected officials who go on national news outlets have a consistent message strategy, it will land. Whatever question they are asked, they pivot to the unconstitutional atrocities by Trump. Just reel them out and the danger to America.

I think the Dem messaging complaints are debatable. Do you want to know why people think that Harris' campaign was only about trans rights and nothing else? Because literally BILLIONS of dollars were spent in online ads pushing that lie. I'd love to know how any consistent message will work.

Don't adjourn - resist and freeze up the process. Call a national economic strike like in Europe - stop purchases except locally, picket corporations, work slow downs and stoppages, delay tax payments. Call be done legally and will hurt the economy and his big plans to help his billionaire friends.

Swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend the constitution, and then knowingly violates it in numerous executive orders. I realize his hand wasn’t actually on the Bible, so religiously he may believe he’s in the clear, but not upholding the oath should squash his presidential immunity.
