To clarify I am saying they are metaphorically sucking his dick by saying he is really good at posting and therefore he makes no effort to improve his posts. Because why would you do anything different if you think you’re already doing everything right?

I fully support the sentiment of the original tweet because it’s funny & true-ish, but the original postulation about the 10,000 hours included “trying to improve” during those hours. Elon tries to improve his *engagement*, but does this by any means other than his tweet quality/content.
That would be trivially untrue. Effective practice takes mental effort like interrogating your mistakes, finding and studying specific techniques, or imitating more advanced people. If all you do is mechanically repeat the same thing again and again, you won't get much better in any amount of time.
